When are the 2019 Emmys?

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 22, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

When does the red carpet kick off?

As usual, you’ve got options. The E! Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2019 Emmy Awards will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET, and the special will feature Kristin Cavallari, Brad Goreski, Nina Parker, and Erin Lim talking all things fashion. At 6 p.m. ET, Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy will kick off the Live From the Red Carpet: The 2019 Emmy Awards segment.

In addition, People and Entertainment Weekly are hosting a live stream as early as 6 p.m. ET, which you can watch on EW.com and PEOPLE.com. Other options? Fox will air their red carpet pre-show from 6:30 to 7 p.m. ET, followed by official red carpet arrivals at 7 p.m. ET.

What channel are the 2019 Emmys on?

This year’s ceremony will air live on FOX. Prior to the actual awards, there will be several hours of red carpet coverage.

If you don’t have cable, don’t worry–you can stream FOX through online services like Playstation Vue, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, and FuboTV. These services all offer a one-week free trial–but FOX may not be available to stream in all regions, so you’ll want to double check that before picking a service.
